Ryobi portable table saws recalled

WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- One World Technologies of Anderson, S.C., is recalling Ryobi portable table saws with potentially misaligned saw blades, consumer safety regulators said.

About 21,500 Ryobi RTS20 portable table saws were imported from China and sold nationwide from July 2010 through October 2010 and sold for about $200, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.

The recall involves RTS20 Ryobi 10-inch portable power table saws with a blue base sold at Home Depot outlets in the United States and Canada.

Consumers were advised to contact Ryobi to receive a free inspection and a free repair or replacement, if necessary.
