CBOT closes mixed Friday

CHICAGO, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Prices were mixed at the close Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade, with corn and oats higher, wheat lower and soybeans splitting the difference.

Corn was up 1 3/4 to up 3, soybeans were off 1/4 to up 1, wheat was off 1/2 to off 2 1/4 and oats were up 2.

Corn was higher on a sell-off on the dollar and tempered by slower export sales. Soybeans were mixed on harvest conditions in South America but found underlying support in a positive export sales report. Wheat fell as traders took profits on Thursday's rally. Oats were higher.

Corn: Dec 5.82 up 3, Mar 5.95 up 3, May 6.01 up 2 3/4, Jly 6.03 3/4 up 1 3/4.

Soybeans: Nov. 12.26 up 1, Jan 12.36 unc, Mar 12.40 1/4 off 1/4, May 12.39 3/4 unc.

Wheat: Dec 7.17 1/4 off 1, Mar 7.57 1/4 off 3/4, May 7.75 off 1/2, Jly 7.83 3/4 off 2 1/4.

Oats: Dec 3.68 up 2, Mar 3.80 1/4 up 2, May 3.85 1/4 up 2, Jly 3.90 1/4 up 2.
