Children's Place denim shorts recalled

WASHINGTON, May 13 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Children's Place denim shorts due to a choking hazard.

The metal snaps on the shorts imported from China by Children's Place Services Co. LLC of Secaucus, N.J., could detach, presenting a choking hazard, the commission said.

Consumers were advised to take the shorts away from children. Customers who purchased the shorts online will be mailed instructions on how to return the shorts for a full refund.
