Foria International pea-coats recalled

WASHINGTON, April 8 (UPI) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Foria International women's pea coats that failed federal flammability standards.

About 800 double-breasted, long-sleeved pea coats were imported from China by Foria International Inc. of City of Industry, Calif., and sold nationwide from October 2009 through January 2010 for about $60.

The blue-and-white plaid coats are made of 100 percent cotton fleece and have "Authentic" printed on the label sewn on the inner neckline.

Consumers were advised to stop using the recalled coats contact Foria International for a full refund, including shipping costs.
