WASHINGTON, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Bristol Model and Martha Stewart Collection tea kettles due to a burn hazard.

About 132,000 Copco and Wild Leaf Tea Co. enameled steel tea kettles were imported from Thailand by Copco, a division of Wilton Industries, Inc. of Woodridge, Ill.

The company has received reports of the handles on the kettle becoming loose with one report including a minor burn to the user's hands, the commission said.

The tea kettles, made in white, cream, blue, cobalt, sand, red and green, were sold nationwide from October 2005 through January 2010 for about $35 each.

Consumers were advised to stop using the kettles and contact Copco for a refund.

Consumers can call 866-255-9237 for information.
