FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Retail giant RadioShack is looking to move its headquarters, possibly outside its current hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, sources close to the company said.
A RadioShack spokeswoman Wendy Dominguez said the company does not "normally discuss rumors or speculation," the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Thursday.
RadioShack is reportedly looking at several cities in a confidential search the company is calling "Project Prince."
Florida's Tampa Bay Business Journal said the corporation was looking for up to 350,000 square feet of space. That would be a large order for Fort Worth, which has a high occupancy level, the Star-Telegram reported.
The company's corporate offices currently employs about 1,700 workers.
