Crude oil prices up in rebound week

NEW YORK, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices rose closer to $73 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange Thursday as commodities climbed a fourth day after a weeklong slump.

Crude oil prices have added $5.91 since Monday, reaching $72.70 per barrel Thursday. Heating oil prices lost 0.0349 cents, to $1.885 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline prices shed 0.0455 cents, to $1.986 per gallon. Natural gas prices lost 0.184 cents, to $2.95 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline was $2.624 per gallon Thursday, down from Wednesday's $2.628, AAA said.
