Crude oil prices ease back slightly

NEW YORK, June 12 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices settled back on the New York Mercantile Exchange Friday after jumping to nearly $72.50 a barrel in the previous trading session.

Crude oil prices lost 25 cents to $72.17 per barrel Friday. Heating oil prices fell 0.0112 cents to $1.84 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline lost 0.0084 cents to $2.05 per gallon. Natural gas prices shed 0.05 cents to $3.889 per million British thermal units.

At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $2.639 Friday, up from Thursday's $2.632 a gallon, AAA said.
