MCKINNEY, Texas, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army is paying Raytheon Co. $161.8 million for a second generation so-called target-acquisition system.
Raytheon will supply its Electro-Optic Target Acquisition Fire Control System that guides TOW missiles, Raytheon said Monday in a news release.

The system is an improvement over the initial TOW missile guidance system and is used in Iraq and Afghanistan by the U.S. Army and U.S. Marines.
