PASADENA, Calif., Nov. 14 (UPI) -- A unit of Haas Automation has hired California's Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. to design and build a wind tunnel.
The contract with Wind Shear Inc. calls for a 180-mph wind tunnel in Concord, N.C., with a rolling road to test full-scale NASCAR race cars.

The $40 million wind tunnel will be "the first of its kind for the NASCAR community," Jacobs said Tuesday in a news release.
