NORFOLK, Va., Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Cubic Corp. has won a $32.8 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide instruction, simulator operation and curriculum support for its Atlantic fleet.
The 5-year contract entails work at Naval Air Stations Oceana and Norfolk in Virginia, and Naval Air Stations Jacksonville and Mayport in Florida. It includes both flight and tactical instruction in the classroom and on simulators.

The new contract continues and expands Cubic's business at NAS Oceana, where Cubic instructors help Navy crews learn to fly the F/A-18 C/D Hornet and F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet, Cubic said Thursday.
