FAIRFAX, Va., July 17 (UPI) -- The Pentagon is paying IBM $17 million to provide "pay for use" collaboration services under the Net-Centric Enterprise Services program.
Big Blue will bring instant messaging, text chat, Web conferencing, whiteboarding and application-sharing to the U.S. Defense Department, the Washington Post reported Monday.

IBM will host unclassified applications for the Defense Information Systems Agency at a secure facility managed by ServerVault Corp.
