LONDON, May 5 (UPI) -- A British newspaper says AOL is looking for buyers of its French and German businesses.
The Guardian said Friday that the Time Warner unit wants to keep its British subsidiary and intends to continue running Internet portals in Germany and France.

AOL reportedly hired Citigroup to find a buyer for the assets, estimated to be worth a combined $890 million.
AOL's operations in both nations have struggled against the incumbents, France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom.
