S. Korea deals Icahn a setback

SEOUL, March 14 (UPI) -- A South Korean court has dealt a setback to Carl Icahn's effort to take over KT&G Corp., the nation's biggest tobacco company.

The Daejeon District Court rejected an injunction filed by Icahn's group to stop KT&G from electing new board members at its Friday meeting. Icahn's group has been maneuvering to put three proxies on the KT&G board.
