German retailer to open 10 stores in India

BOMBAY, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Germany-based women's fashion wear retailer Marc Cain Corp. will open 10 franchise outlets in India in the next two years.

"The investments will be planned only after we decide on the right partner. We want to be very flexible and have to work out areas of investment for us and the partner," a Marc Cain spokesman said Monday.

The company, which specializes in knitwear, has 56 Marc Cain Stores, 356 Marc Cain Depots and Shop In Stores, the Hindu newspaper said.
