BOMBAY, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Enterprise software giant Oracle Corp. will hire 10,000 more workers in India by September.
The move is part of Oracle's plan to move into non-metropolitan areas, the Press Trust of India reported Tuesday.

Currently, the California-based company employs 8,600 people across six India cities, Oracle President Charles Phillips said.
Besides moving into non-metropolitan areas, Oracle plans to hire in such communities as Ahemdabad, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Lucknow, Pune and Vishakhapatnam.
