DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Australia's Multiplex Group won a $290 million contract to build an 86-story office and residential tower in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Foster and Partners of London produced the architectural concept for the project, The Age newspaper said Tuesday. Other parties in the deal include architects Woods Bagot and structural engineers Bruechle, Gilchrist and Evans.

The Union Properties project in downtown Dubai entails 25 floors of offices and 50 floors with 520 apartments and penthouses, as well as parking, retail outlets and services.
