NEW YORK, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Crude oil and natural gas ended a week of trading Friday lower than the commodities began the five-day period.
High-quality crude oil for November delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange ended at $60.63 per barrel, up 1 percent for the day but 2 percent lower than it cost Monday morning.

Natural gas closed down 0.8 percent for the day and 2.6 percent for the week at $12.872 per million Btu, a one-month low.
Heating oil fell to $1.8665 per gallon, while gasoline gained slightly to settle at $1.64 per gallon.
