BOSTON, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- JetBlue Airways is preparing to launch 10 new flights between New York's Kennedy International and Boston's Logan Airport.
Fares on the new flights, which start next month, will cost $25 one-way if bought before Oct. 20. After that, one-way tickets will range from $40 to $120, the New York Times reported Wednesday.

The move challenges the dominance of legacy airlines such as US Airways, Delta Air Lines and Continental.
"Boston is a classic case of a market that has a lot of service but it's overpriced," Jenny Dervin, a JetBlue spokeswoman, said. "Every time we begin service from Boston to a new city, we come in and we liberate the route with low fares."
