Japanese group to build Chinese hospital

TOKYO, Oct. 12 (UPI) -- Japan's Founder Group is building a 2,400-bed hospital in China, the largest such facility in the nation.

Construction of the $395 million hospital will begin next year with doors set to open in 2008, the Japan Times reported Wednesday.

Founder's partner in building the facility will be Peking University, which will use the facility as a teaching facility. Some of the cost of the project will come from loans.
