Wal-Mart wants that money back plus about $6.5 million it paid him in bonuses during the seven years or so the fraud supposedly occurred.

The big U.S. discount chain previously rescinded Coughlin's retirement agreement, which included about $14 million in forfeited restricted stock and salary.

Coughlin has denied any wrongdoing.
