NEW YORK, July 7 (UPI) -- U.S. Internet search engine Yahoo! is quietly testing a job search engine that finds job listings from across the Web, not just paying sources.
Known as "Job Engine from Yahoo! HotJobs," the site lists sponsored postings, featured results from paid listings and then job results from the Web, CNET News reported Thursday.

Previously, Yahoo!'s HotJobs site got its listings directly from employers and staffing agencies.
The new site lets Yahoo! compete with online job search companies like Monster and CareerBuilder.com, as well as job listing aggregator sites like Indeed and SimplyHired.com.
