OTE sells assets to COSMOTE

ATHENS, Greece, April 20 (UPI) -- Greece's largest fixed-line telephone company says it has sold its Bulgarian and Macedonia assets to Greek mobile operator COSMOTE for $640.7 million.

OTE, or Hellenic Telecommunications Organization, said it sold 100 percent of shares in Bulgarian mobile operator GloBul for about $523 million (400 million euros) and 100 percent of shares in Macedonian mobile operator COSMOFON for $117.68 million (90 million euros).
