NCR to buy Tidel's ATM business

DAYTON, Ohio, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- NCR Corp. of Dayton, Ohio, Friday entered into an agreement with Tidel Technologies of Houston to buy its automated teller machine business.

The parties anticipate closing the deal in the fourth quarter after Tidel has filed its audited financial reports necessary for a shareholder vote.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Tidel Technologies is a manufacturer of automated teller machines and timed-access cash-control security equipment designed for specialty retail marketers.
