HONOLULU, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Hawaii's top three pizza chains now charge for delivery, the Honolulu Advertiser reported Tuesday.
Domino's was the first to impose a $1.25 delivery fee on the islands more than a year ago. During the past month or so, industry leader Pizza Hut has initiated a $1 delivery fee.

Now No. 2 Papa John's Pizza has begun charging $1 to deliver.
Local pizza executives say the high cost of business made delivery fees necessary.
"We really did try and stay away from this as long as we could," said Papa John's Hawaii owner Jeff Jervik, who cited high costs including workers' compensation expenses.
