ARMONK, N.Y., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- IBM of Armonk, N.Y., is selling its personal computer business, the New York Times reported Friday.
A sale, likely to be in the $1 billion to $2 billion range, is expected to include the entire range of desktop, laptop and notebook computers made by Big Blue.

The company declined to confirm or deny the reported sale of its personal computer business.
Among potential buyers is Lenovo, China's largest maker of personal computers, formerly known as Legend.
PC revenues account for about 12 percent of IBM's annual revenue of $92 billion.
IBM lags well behind Dell and Hewlett-Packard in personal computer sales.
