CHICAGO, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Hilton Hotels wants to sell the Palmer House Hilton, Chicago's oldest hotel and the second-largest in the city, the Tribune reported Wednesday.
Hilton, which has owned the hotel since founder Conrad Hilton bought it in 1945 for $20 million, wants about $250 million for the historic property.

The 25-story hotel's original structure was built by legendary Chicago entrepreneur Potter Palmer in 1871. The hotel has 1,639 rooms.
