HOUSTON, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Houston-based energy company Halliburton said Thursday it has won three contracts worth as much as $500 million with an Omani company.
The contracts with Petroleum Development Oman include cementing, stimulation , directional drilling, logging-while-drilling and mudlogging services.

The total value of these contracts is estimated to be between $400 million and $500 million over five years, with optional extensions of two years.
"The award of this contract furthers our commitment to Oman and the Middle East region," said Joe Rainey, Halliburton's vice president of the Middle East region, in a statement.
