Avaya acquires Spectel

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Avaya Inc. of Basking Ridge, N.J., said Tuesday it has acquired Spectel of Andover, Mass., for approximately $103 million in cash.

Avaya is a global provider of business communications software, systems and services.

Spectel currently provides more than 500 customers with audio conferencing solutions. Spectel has approximately 210 employees.
