Viropro to buy Efficient Solution

MONTREAL, June 17 (UPI) -- Viropro Inc. of Canada said Thursday it plans to acquire Efficient Solution Inc., a privately-held, Montreal-based internet solution provider.

Viropro said details of the deal will be disclosed on completion of the due diligence phase and finalization of the purchase agreement.

Efficient Solution is an emerging player in the growing discount dial-up segment of the Internet access market.

Viropro said acquiring Efficient Solution fits into its strategic plan of building a diversified portfolio of growth companies with core competencies in the technology and life sciences sectors.
