Mercury Computer buys Advanced Radio

CHELMSFORD, Mass., June 2 (UPI) -- Mercury Computer Systems of Massachusetts said Wednesday it has acquired Advanced Radio of Virginia for $7 million in cash.

Mercury Computer is a developer of radio frequency products targeting signals intelligence applications and commercial opportunities such as wireless infrastructure testing.

The all cash transaction was structured as the purchase by Mercury of the outstanding stock of Advanced Radio.
