The exchange said Ferraro will start on May 24 and will report to Amy Butte, who was named chief financial officer of corporate finance last month.

The exchange said along with running the controllers unit, Ferraro will oversee the newly created business unit controllers group, which will serve as designated financial officers to various business units of the exchange.

Previously, Ferraro worked at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., prior to which he was with Deloitte and Touche.
