Security firm wins $23 million contract

FAIRFAX, Va., May 21 (UPI) -- The U.S. Air Force awarded Worldwide Security of Virginia a $23 million contract Friday to supply armed guard services at Air Force bases nationwide.

The contract calls for armed security guards to support installation entry control and vehicle inspections.

Work will be performed at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, D.C.; Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland; Luke Air Force Base Arizona; Dyess Air Force Base, Texas; Lackland Air Force Base, Texas; Hill Air Force Base, Utah; Whiteman Air Force Base, Montana, and Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.

The contract is for one year.
