SOFIA, Bulgaria, April 30 (UPI) -- Bulgaria's current account deficit widened to $143.8 million in February 2004 compared with $174 million February last year.
The official figures, released Friday, put the country's current account deficit at 1.8 percent of gross domestic product for the first two months of the year.

Imports grew in February by 13.7 percent with exports growing by 4.7 percent.
