Hungarian jobless rate hits 6.1 percent

BUDAPEST, Hungary, April 29 (UPI) -- Hungary's unemployment rate rose to 6.1 percent in March from 6 percent in February, official figures showed Thursday.

Hungary has one of the lowest jobless rates in the region. Neighboring Slovakia has an unemployment rate of more than 16 percent. Poland's jobless rate is more than 20 percent.
