NEW YORK, April 9 (UPI) -- The Mini Cooper, Acura RSX, Honda Accord, Nissan Maxima and Pontiac Bonneville are the best passenger cars on the road, according to online Car.com.
"At this time in automotive history, it's almost impossible to find an undeserving vehicle," said the editors of the popular Internet Web site.
Car.com's first Choice Awards included cars, wagons, sport-utility vehicles, vans and pickups.
The popular Mini Cooper was best mini-compact, Honda's RSX best compact, the Honda Accord best compact, Nissan Maxima best midsize and Pontiac Bonneville best large car.
The Pontiac Vibe was best small wagon and Subaru's Outback took the award for best midsize wagon.
The Subaru Forrester was named best small utility vehicle, Volkswagen Tourareg best intermediate utility, Cadillac Escalade best large utility and the Lexus LX470 top luxury utility.
Nissan's Quest was best minivan and the Dodge Sprinter best full-size van.
The Chrysler 300C and Dodge Magnum won Choice Awards for best new design.
