SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Bucking the trend for paid premium Internet services, Google has decided to provide its Web blogging service for free.
The creation of Blogger Pro, which cost subscribers a $35 annually, came about as a result of financial necessity, founder Evan Williams said in an e-mail to subscribers. CNET News.com reports now that Google owns the service, that need has passed.
