Trade gap widens to a record

WASHINGTON, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- The nation's trade deficit during November widened to a seasonally adjusted record $40.1 billion from a $35.2 billion gap in October. Economists were expecting the Commerce Department report Friday to show the trade gap to widening to $36.4 billion.
