Trade gap narrows

WASHINGTON, May 17 (UPI) -- The Commerce Department said Friday the U.S. trade deficit narrowed slightly during March to a seasonally adjusted $31.6 billion from $31.8 billion in February. Most economists on Wall Street were expecting the trade gap to widen to $32.5 billion during the month.
