Industrial production declines

WASHINGTON, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- The Federal Reserve said Wednesday U.S. industrial production fell a seasonally adjusted 0.1 percent in December after falling 0.4 percent in November and 0.9 percent in October. Economists on Wall Street were expecting industrial production, the Federal Reserve's measure of work done by factories, mines and utilities, to post no change during the month.
