Tony Dixon (born June 18, 1979 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama) is a former American football safety in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys. He was with the Cowboys from 2001 to 2004. Tony grew up in a small community called Palmetto, Alabama (outside of Reform, Alabama). He attended Pickens County High School and graduated in 1997 with an advanced diploma. Tony was president of the student council. Tony received an athletic scholarship to the University of Alabama. He played safety (number 24) and was an active member of the community. Tony is the son of Donald and Martha Diane Dixon. He has one sister, Tiffany.
