Dexter Lamar Jackson (born July 28, 1977 in Quincy, Florida) is an American football safety who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fourth round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He played college football at Florida State.
Jackson earned a Super Bowl ring with the Buccaneers in Super Bowl XXXVII, earning MVP honors. He has also played for the Arizona Cardinals and Cincinnati Bengals.
Jackson attended Florida State University and was a Human and Science Major and a letterman in football. In football, he was named as an All-Atlantic Coast Conference as a junior, and he finished his college football career with 194 tackles, 7 interceptions, 16 passes defensed, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and blocked four field goals.
