Wiki

Brandon Coutu (born September 29, 1984 in Lawrenceville, Georgia) is an American football placekicker for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Georgia. He will compete with Olindo Mare in training camp and pre-season for the starting kicking position.

He is one of only two kickers picked by NFL teams in the 2008 draft. At the University of Georgia, he kicked 3 field goals over 50 yards, his longest 58 yards. He never missed a PAT at Georgia and was the first kicker in Georgia history to have over 80% Field Goal Accuracy. All these things were accomplished after turning down scholarships at other schools for soccer and football to be a walk on at Georgia.
