SEOUL, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- North Korea's state media said Friday that the country will deport a U.S. citizen, who was detained for an illegal entry last month.
The Korean Central News Agency said that North Korean authorities detained the man for illegally entering the country at the border between China and North Korea on Oct. 16. The report said that he told in a probe that he came upon an order by the U.S. intelligence agency.
The man is identified as Bruce Byron Lawrence in the report.
"Our related agency decided to deport the U.S. citizen Lawrence to outside the republic," the report said.
