The one-day summit, held at the J.W. Marriott, will feature panel discussions with entrepreneurs, executives and elected officials on public policy issues that matter most to Hispanic business owners and leaders.

The coalition said the summit would also feature speakers U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta and Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah.

"For years, the small-business community was discouraged by its leaders in Washington, D.C., and our economy struggled as a result," Hector Barreto, coalition chairman and former U.S. Small Business Administrator, said in a press release.

"Recently, there has been a resurgence in optimism in the entrepreneurial sector, which is now unleashing the best of the best and once again making their uniquely powerful economic contribution: jobs."
