May 23 (UPI) -- An Arizona resident captured video of an encounter with a surprising trespasser on their patio -- a lounging mountain lion.
The video, filmed Sunday on the patio of a Sabino Canyon area home, shows the cougar relaxing on the wooden boards without any apparent sign of being bothered by the human observer.
The Arizona Game and Fish Department said it was the fifth mountain lion spotted in a residential area of the state since December.
The department said a mountain lion euthanized by officials last week was the first to be killed in 10 years.
