June 11 (UPI) -- A runner in an Australian race stopped on a wooded path to give some water to a thirsty koala that approached her for a drink.
A video recorded during Sunday's Cleland 50 race in South Australia shows a participant bending over to allow the koala to drink from her water bottle.
"Don't bite me," the woman requests.
The koala drinks for a few seconds and allows the runner to pet its back before heading back to the trees.
