Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Police in Pennsylvania said a man accused of stealing a pot of meatballs from a resident's garage was spotted with evidence all over his face.
Pennsylvania State Police responded to a report of a burglary Monday after a Hazle Township man arrived home at 2:37 p.m. and discovered a man covered in red sauce was outside his home and a pot of meatballs was missing from his garage.
Troopers found the pot on the street outside the man's home and located Leahman G.R. Potter, 48, at his residence a short time later.
Potter was arrested on charges of burglary, trespass and theft. Police said he was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear.
He was booked into the Luzerne County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail.
