Jan. 8 (UPI) -- A Delaware man said a dream inspired him to buy the scratch-off lottery ticket that ended up winning him a $10,000 prize.
James Woolbert, 52, said he had a dream about winning the lottery that inspired him to buy a $250,000 CASH Instant Game the next day from Back Bay Tobacco in Sussex County.
"I scratched it in the store and was stunned when I realized I won," Woolbert said.
Woolbert said he has been playing scratch-off lottery tickets for 10 years, but the $10,000 prize he claimed Wednesday at lottery headquarters is his largest prize to date.
"The first person I told was my wife," Woolbert said. "We plan on using the winnings to pay off Christmas and save the rest."
