Production on the 10 new episodes is scheduled to begin in January in Vancouver. They are expected to air in 2019.

Season 2 "centers on a series of bizarre deaths that haunt a Japanese-American community, and a young man's journey to understand and combat the malevolent entity responsible," a press release said.

The cable network previously announced actor Derek Mio will lead the series and Josef Kubota Wladyka will direct the first two episodes.

The ensemble also includes Kiki Sukezane, Miki Ishikawa, Shingo Usami and Naoko Mori.
